Our 200g candles have a burning time of 40 hours if you follow our suggestions on first burns etc

Yes! Always keep your wick at about 0.5-1cm, this will ensure your candle burns longer and the flame will be a clean one with no black smoke. It also means you won't be picking bits of black wick out of your beautiful candle wax!  We do not want a candle wick bending over and extinguishing itself in the molten wax.  As the candle starts to cool, it is always a good idea to recentre the wick and make sure it is straight, to keep the next burn even

How you burn your candle is key to a long lasting one.  For the first burn, trim the candle wick to  0.5-1cm.  Do not extinguish the flame until the wax has burnt to all of the edges of the glass.  It will usually take 2-3 hours.  If your first burn is perfect then it will help your candle continue to burn evenly and without tunnelling (the ultimate tragedy for a candle - when a huge amount of wax is left around the inside of it's vessel), and once your candle reaches 1cm from the base, we recommend you stop burning it.  A top tip for you to get every last bit,remove and use the last 1cm of wax as a wax melt.

All the candles are safe for use in pregnancy

It goes without saying that you should have your candles out of reach of small hands and furry paws from a safety perspective.  With regards to the ingredients, oils and fragrance, these are safe for everybody and pets to be around.

Always protect your furniture, we do not recommend placing the candle directly on a surface without protection.
